cup rice, cooked

cup milk

cup sugar

tsp. Almond extract

cup whipping cream

cup slivered almonds

Danish Dessert, Raspberry
Cook rice, stir in milk, sugar, and almond
extract. Cover and refrigerate
overnight. Before serving, whip
the cream and fold into the rice mixture.
Fold in almonds. Prepare
Danish Dessert ad directed and use to top individual servings.
Battered Chicken
2
large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2” pieces
Batter:

egg
½
cup flour

Tbsp. corn starch

Tbsp. oil
1 ½
tsp. baking powder
1
tsp. salt
½
tsp. soda
about
½ cup water
Mix all ingredients well, adding enough water to
make consistency of thin pancake
batter. Dip chicken breast pieces
in batter and deep fry until golden brown, and chicken is cooked through the
center.
Gravy

can evaporated milk

chicken bouillon cubes
flour
to thicken
