3 apples, medium size
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons sugar
Wash, peel, core and cut each apple
into 12-16 sections. Add apple
slices to boiling water; cover saucepan; cook at simmering temperature until
slices are tender and soft, about 15-20 minutes. Mash cooked apple slices with a fork. Add sugar and stir until sugar is
dissolved.
