Ginger Cookies

1 1/2 cups shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. ginger
1/2 cup molasses
sugar

Cream shortening and sugar.  Add eggs.  Cream well.
Sift dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture.  Add the molasses and mix well.
Roll into 1 inch balls, roll in sugar.  Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
