Belgian Waffles with Buttermilk Syrup,
Whipped Cream and Fruit
Scrambled Eggs and Bacon

Belgian Waffles

2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs - separated
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder.  In another bowl, lightly bet egg yolks.  Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix well.  Stir into dry ingredients just until combined.  Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold in batter.  Bake in a preheated waffle iron until golden brown.

Buttermilk Syrup

1 cup sugar
1 cube butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Combine sugar, butter and buttermilk together in a medium size pot.  Bring to boil.  Add the vanilla and baking soda.  Let cool and pour into a serving dish.

Whipped Cream

8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 pint heavy whipping cream, whipped

Blend together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.  Fold in heavy whipping cream.
