Menu
-Oven Fried Chicken, Rolls, Mashed Potatoes with gravy, and Green Salad with sliced tomatoes
-Apple Pie and Ice Cream

Oven Fried Chicken
Preheat oven 375 degrees
1 cup crushed cornflakes
1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 to 3lbs Chicken, skinned
Oil (optional)
Plastic bag
Mix cornflakes and seasonings, pour into plastic bag. Wash chicken. If using oil roll chicken in oil, place chicken into plastic bag one or two pieces at a time. Shake bag until chicken is covered. Put on baking sheet, 15 x 10 x 1-inch. Try to keep pieces from touching. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until chicken is no longer pink by the bone, or until internal temperature is 175 degrees. Remove from oven and serve hot.

Rolls
                                                                                                            Oven 350 degrees
Yeast mixture
¼ c. warm water, 1 tbsp. yeast, ½ tsp. sugar
Mix and set aside
Dough
1 c. warm milk
¼ c. oil
¼ c. honey/sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ c. flour
An additional 3-6 c. flour
Mix dough ingredients together, and then add yeast mixture.  Continue to mix in additional flour until dough pulls away from sides of the bowl.  Form rolls and place on greased cookie sheet.  Allow them to rise for 40 min. or until they have doubled in size.  Put in oven and cook for 12-14 min. or until a little brown.

Iceberg salad with sliced tomatoes added.
Instant Mashed potatoes with instant chicken gravy
