Sloppy Joes
“German” Potato Salad

Sloppy Joes
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, diced
½ can tomato soup
¼ cup ketchup
1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
¾ tsp. chili powder
¾ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. dry mustard
¼ cup green pepper, diced (optional)

Cook beef in heavy saucepan over medium heat, breaking up.  Add onions and cook until soft and transparent; drain.  Combine and add remaining ingredients.  Simmer 20 minutes. Serve on buns.

“German” Potato Salad
4 medium potatoes, cut and boiled
4 eggs, hard boiled and diced
6 oz. bacon, fried and cut into ½ in. pieces
½ cup mayo
¼ cup Italian dressing
2 Tbsp. milk
Pickles for taste
Mix mayo, Italian dressing and milk together in a medium bowl.  Combine potatoes, eggs, bacon and pickles.  Pour dressing mix over everything, mix together and enjoy.

Brownies
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
½ cup plus 2 Tbsp. cocoa
½ cup flour
¼ tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 and grease baking pan.  Place butter in a large microwave safe bowl.  Microwave 2 min. or until melted.  Stir in sugar and vanilla.  Add eggs one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition.  Add cocoa; beat.  Add lour, baking powder and salt; beat well.  Pour batter into pan and bake 30 min.  Cool and serve.
