Ashley Foster


Green Salad
Bag of lettuce
2 tomatoes
4 or 5 green onions
1 can of black olives
2 cups of bite sized cubes of medium cheddar cheese
A handful of diced mushrooms
            Chop everything up and mix together

Rice and Meat Sauce
2 cups rice
3 ½ cups of water
1lb Hamburger
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp Parsley
1 tsp Chives
Salt/pepper (to taste)
Grated cheddar cheese
            Put the water and rice together in a pot set on the stove and cook. In a skillet brown the hamburger. Once it’s brown mix the cream of mushroom soup with it. Then add parsley and chives, mix. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Serve meat sauce on top of rice. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Dessert
Vanilla ice cream
Chocolate chip cookies

Chocolate Chip cookies
1 cup of shortening
¾ cup of brown sugar
¾ cup of granulated sugar
1 tsp of vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of baking soda
2 ½ cups of flour
Chocolate chips
            Mix the shortening, both sugars, vanilla and eggs together in a medium sized mixing bowl. Then mix the salt, baking soda and flour together in a separate bowl. And then add the dry ingredients mixture to the wet ingredients mixture and mix all together with an electric hand mixer. After it is well mixed you add the chocolate chips. Round the dough into bowls about the size of a spoon and place on a cookie sheet. Cook at 375 degrees for 9-12 minutes.
