Easy Meatballs

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
½ cup Progresso® Italian-style bread crumbs
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
1 egg
Heat oven to 400°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
In large bowl, mix all ingredients. Shape mixture into 20 to 24 (1 1/2-inch meatballs. Place 1 inch apart in pan.
Bake uncovered 18 to 22 minutes or until no longer pink in center.

Chewy Moist Brownies

¼ and 2 tbsp  cup cocoa
1/3 cup plus 1/8 cup shortening or butter
1 cups sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ plus 1/8  flour
½  teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt

Turn on oven to 350. In a bowl melt cocoa & shortening or butter in the microwave.  In another bowl place sugar, eggs, and vanilla.  Mix well then add flour, baking powder and salt.  Mix well then add in the cocoa & shortening mixture. Mix well, put in a greased 8x9” pan and cook for 23-25 minutes, or until the sides are starting to pull away. 


French Bread

1 ¼ cups warm water
1 tbsp. Dry yeast
1tsp. Salt
1tsp and 1/2tsp Olive oil
2 ½  cups flour


Dissolve yeast in the warm water, then mix in salt and olive oil. Add 1 cup of flour at a time until the mixture begins to wipe the sides of the bowl clean. Knead for 10 minutes then roll out into loaves. Place on a greased sheet. Let it raise for about 10 minutes then bake at 400 for 25-30 min.
