Macaroni and Cheese
Green Beans

Lemon Bars

Macaroni and Cheese
6 cups water
2 tablespoons flour
2 1/2 cups dry macaroni
2 tablespoons margarine
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup processed cheese

Bring water to boil, then add macaroni and cook until done.  In a sauce pan, melt butter then blend in flour.  Slowly add milk and stir until smooth and thickened.  Add cheese and blend.  Combine with macaroni.

Lemon Bars

Crust
1/2 cup butter
1/4 powdered sugar
1 cup flour

Lemon Layer
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Zest of half a lemon
2 tablespoons powdered sugar 

Preheat oven to 325.  In a large bowl, cream butter and ¼ cup powdered sugar; add 1 cup flour.  Srpead in a 8x8 inch pan and bake for 15-20 min.  While crust is baking, prepare filling.

In a medium bowl, beat eggs slightly and add sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour, lemon juice and lemon rind.  Mix well and pour over hot crust immediately after removing it fro the oven.  Bake for 15-20 minutes.  Remove from oven and sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.  Cool slightly before cutting into 2-inch squares.
