Chicken Alfredo
6 to 8 oz fettuccini or linguine
noodles
1 chicken breast, cut into
bite-sized strips
1 Tbsp oil
1 TBSP butter
1 tsp Mrs. Dash Seasoning
Sauce
2 cups milk
3 oz. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Sauce
2 cups milk

1. Bring a large pot of water to
a boil. Add salt (if desired). Add noodles and cook until al dente.
2. Sprinkle Chicken with Mrs.
Dash Seasoning. Heat oil and butter in skillet over medium-high heat, add
chicken and cook until no longer pink. Set aside
FOR SAUCE:
1. place milk cream cheese,
flour, and salt in a bowl and blend until smooth.
2. In a sauce pan, melt butter on
medium-high heat and add garlic. Let the garlic saute for about 30 seconds.
3. Then add milk mixture to the
pan. Stir constantly for about 3 to 4 minutes or until it just comes to a
simmer. Keep stirring and let it cook for 4 minutes.
4. When the sauce has thickened,
remove the pan from the heat. Add the cheese, stir and cover immediately. Let
stand for at least 10 minutes before using. It will continue to thicken upon
standing.
5. Add chicken and noodles and
mix or pour sauce over noodles and chicken.
Breadsticks
½ TBSP yeast 1
TBSP parmesan cheese
1 TBSP sugar ½
tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¾ cup warm water
1 ½ cup flour
2 TBSP butter
1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast,
sugar, and salt in warm water.
2. add flour and mix together.
3. knead dough for 3 minutes,
until the dough starts to clean the sides of the bowl.
4. let dough rise for 10 minutes.
5. Roll out dough ½ inch thick
and cut into strips, then dip in melted butter.
6. place strips on a greased
cookie sheet and sprinkle with topping.
7. Bake 350 for 25 minutes.
Chocolate Cake (1 pan – no egg)
1 ½ cup
flour 1/3 cup oil
1 cup sugar ¼ TBSP vanilla
¼ cup cocoa 1 cup cold water
1 tsp baking
soda 1 TBSP vinegar
¼ tsp salt
Mix the dry
ingredients in a greased pan (9 x 9”).
Make 3 wells
in the flour and pour the pre-mixed oil, vanilla and vinegar into the wells.
Pour the
water over all the ingredients, and mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
Bake at 350
for 25-30 minutes.
Frosting recipe
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1-3 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1-3 Tbsp. milk
Melt the butter in a small pan. Add the cocoa, stir until
melted. Cool slightly. Add powdered sugar followed by enough milk to make a
frosting consistency.
