Waffles with Maple Syrup
Fruit Salad

Maple Syrup
       
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. maple flavoring

Heat water but do not boil (or let it cool down a bit before you add sugar) then stir in the sugar until dissolved. Add maple flavoring.


Fruit Salad
   
4 cans of fruit
1 packet vanilla pudding
8 oz. whipped topping

Drain all cans of fruit except 1 can, add all fruit and the 1can of juice, and stir in pudding. Add in whipped topping & chill.  


Buttermilk Waffles

2 cups flour                                                     1 Tbsp. Sugar
2 tsp. baking powder                                      3 eggs
¾ tsp. baking soda                                          1 ½ cup buttermilk
½ tsp. salt                                                       ½ cup melted butter


Preheat waffle iron. Mix all dry ingredients and add eggs &buttermilk (6 Tbsp. dry buttermilk and 1 ½ cup water can be used). Add butter. Makes 8 six inch square waffles.
