3 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs on at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Take cookies off baking sheet right away; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
