Ground Beef Stroganoff

No-Bake Cookies

Ground Beef Stroganoff

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 small clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. buttter
1 pound ground beef
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp, paprika
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
Cooked rice or noodles

Saute onions and garlic in a little butter in a hot skillet.  Stir in meat, flour and seasonings, and saute about 5 minutes or until meat loses its color.  Add mushrooms, then soup.  Simmer about 10 minutes.  Stir in sour cream and heat, but do not boil.  Add a little milk if needed.  Season to taste.  Serve on hot rice or noodles.  

No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup evaporated milk
4 cups sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup margarine
1 heaping cup peanut butter
6 cups old fashioned oats


Mix evaporated milk, sugar, cocoa and margarine together in large saucepan, stirring constantly and letting boil for 1 minutes.  Then add vanilla, peanut butter and oats.  Mix thoroughly and drop by teaspoons on parchment paper.
