Apple Crisp


Recipe from Erin Atkinson

6 apples
2 tablespoons white sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup old fashioned oats
¾ cup flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup cold butter
Ice cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toss apples (peeled, cored, and sliced) with white sugar and ½ teaspoon cinnamon in a separate bowl. Use pastry cutter to mash cold butter into the oats mixture until it is a crumb mixture. Spread over the apples to the edges of the baking dish and pat down evenly. Bake for about 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
